GADA - Generic Animal Drug Alliance

About Us

The Generic Animal Drug Alliance ("GADA" or "the Alliance") is an independent professional trade organization comprised of companies in the animal health industry interested in generic animal drug products. Our purpose is to represent the interests of these companies before Federal regulatory agencies and Congress. Our organization began following enactment of the Generic Animal Drug and Patent Term Restoration Act of 1988. Originally, we were affiliated with the Generic Pharmaceutical Industry Association ("GPIA"), before organizing the Animal Drug Alliance. After several years as the Animal Drug Alliance, we believed it necessary to become the Generic Animal Drug Alliance, in order to more clearly state our primary objective.
