FDA Announces FY 2026 User Fee Rates for ADUFA and AGDUFA
July 29, 2025 - The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has announced the fiscal year (FY) 2026 user fee rates for animal drugs under the Animal Drug User Fee Act (ADUFA) and the Animal Generic Drug User Fee Act (AGDUFA), as published in the Federal Register. These fees support timely review of new and generic animal drug applications and help ensure the safety of animal treatments and the food supply. ADUFA and AGDUFA were reauthorized under the 2023 Amendments and extend through FY 2028. See the full announcement in today’s CVM Update.

GADA Chair to Present at Animal Health Regulatory Affairs Conference
June 2025 – Stephanie Batliner, GADA Chair, will participate as a panelist, speaking on FDA regulatory affairs during the September 16-18 event sponsored by Kansas State University-Olathe, at its campus. GADA Attends USP Convention Meeting
May 2025 - Courtney Arumugam, GADA Officer and Chair of its Industry Stakeholder Relations Subgroup, joined hundreds of representatives across health and science at the USP Convention Meeting May 5-8. Critical dialogue led to elections of the Board of Trustees and Council of Experts, and adoption of Resolutions for USP’s next five-year cycle and beyond. Arumugam represents GADA, a Voting Member of the USP Convention, to advance the interests of the generic animal drug industry and advocate for a veterinary drug-focused body within USP.
